The job market may be slow for some, but
Capital Area Food Bank Ambassador Against Hunger Paul Wharton says it
couldn't be busier for him. We caught up with Wharton Wednesday night on
the Donovan House rooftop, where he was co-hosting a MenzFit event and
sporting a unique charm bracelet. Turns out the piece is part of a new
jewelry line called Unto Others that Wharton is rolling out. "I am going
to launch it at Charm in Georgetown but it's going to end up at
Macy's." Wharton told Yeas & Nays.
The design is a silver tag which he tells us he created. "It's a necklace and a bracelet and the idea is to tie off hunger. With each sale of either the bracelet or the necklace, three meals are donated to the Capital Area Food Bank. So for about $30, people can actually feed their hunger for fashion while feeding the hungry," Wharton said.
